River’s the woman who shot up my commanding officer’s furniture, isn’t she? I don’t know her all that well, but she seems very…persuasive?

Then again, Jack tends to solve problems without causing explosions…

(Sorry about the wait, guys! Been down with allergies lately. Hopefully updates will be more regular from here on out!)

And by research we mean “ordering The Brilliant Book of Doctor Who 2011, which should come in this week.”

Running an askblog: srs bsns.

I’m guessing the Doctor isn’t one for the whole “respect your elders” thing, either.

Unfortunately, no, I haven’t met Jesus.  I’m afraid I missed him by almost 70 years.

Jack got it for me.

I changed the wallpaper, though. And deleted most of the hard drive. How do you even do that with a Dalek and a cheesegrater

It was worth the wait.

on crediting and other things

Recently, it’s come to our attention that people have been taking our gifs and posting them on their own tumblrs without crediting us.

This is kind of a douche move.

Don’t get us wrong, we’re thrilled that people like our art. We love it. If you’d told us a week ago we’d have gotten this many followers and reblogs in two days, we’d have thought you were crazy. But we don’t think it’s too egotistical to ask that if you’re going to share our art, at least do us the favor of telling people where it came from.

Honestly, we don’t want to slap ugly watermarks on everything we do, and on a site like tumblr I guess this sort of thing was to be expected, but frankly, we were pretty hurt and angry to find people posting our art without credit. We don’t like to assume the worst in people, and we’re fairly sure people just wanted to spread the love, but please think before you decide to save an image to your hard drive and then post it as your own.

This has been a message from your artists at askthelonecenturion. Art will continue tomorrow as scheduled. Hopefully.
